Mayor of London Pride 2022
The Mayor has supported Pride in London for many years with both financial and operational support at the Pride Parade and by attendance. This year Pride was celebrating 50 years of pride in London. After being away since 2019, this was going to be an epic celebration.
Working closely with the events and digital team as well as LGBTQ networks, this route was chosen. The idea behind this was a nod to the pioneers of the movement whilst paying homage to the screen printing technique (popular in the 60’s-70’s), by playing with opacity and overlays giving the impression of one and fluidity, you are not one thing, you are mutli-layered.
